At a packed hearing Tuesday, twice as many New Scotland residents spoke in favor of Cynthia Elliott’s plan for a party venue — many of them citing the importance of keeping open space — as spoke against. Most of the objections — on noise, traffic, and declining property values — came from residents of Unionville-Feura Bush Road.
