Ranked third in New York State, the Voorheesville girls’ soccer team got to the Class B sectional final for the second straight year. In a crushing loss, 4 to 1, the Birds couldn’t beat the first-ranked team, Schalmont — the same team Voorheesville last year in the semifinals.
